Starting off the year strong these were this weeks favorites. The Family Game by Catherine Steadman This was a twisty thriller involving the main character is meeting the in-laws and there are some things she hasn’t worked out about the family she is about to marry into. Harriet who goes by Harry, is a budding novelist who is dating Edward who is part of an elite, old-money family. Things start to get interesting when it’s time for Harry to meet her future in-laws after Edward’s over-the-top proposal. This family has some very different family traditions and passing these tests is only just the start. If you were disappointed with The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes; The Family Game is probably worth a try.

This year, the goal is to try and whittle down my stack of books. Specifically, to target e-books and audio books that have been collecting e-dust on my devices. To do this, the plan is to pick a book every single day. Read it for 1 hour and decide if I’m going to read it this month, read it this year, or abandon it forever.
